Location

Kalyana Bay is situated in Amuk Bay, an exclusive bay area within the seaside fishing village of Manggis near Candi Dasa on Bali's East Coast. With a new road leading from South to East coast Bali, Candi Dasa is reachable within forty minutes from Sanur in the South. An easy drive through rice fields and coastline ends in a traditional Balinese village.

Candi Dasa is a less developed alternative to the busy South and is enjoyed by all walks of life. Scuba Divers adore the macro life and abundant coral found on nearby reefs and culture vultures have a short trip to one of Bali's oldest traditional villages, where its original residents, the Bali Aga reside. The island's largest Hindu temple 'Pura Besakih' s situated nearby and Bali's stunning Tirtha Gangga (Water Palace) is within fifteen minutes drive from Kalyana Bay.

It's also easy to access roads that lead to experiences further afield such as a trip to Bali's cultural centre Ubud (60 mins) or a mountain trek up Kintamani volcano (2 ½ hours).
